Custodian

Position Title:   Custodian 
Classification:   Retail Store - Support
Department:   General Store 
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assists all departments with trash removal

• Sweeps, vacuums and./or mops interior of the store daily

• Cleans restrooms including fixtures, floors and mirrors

• Replenishes restroom supplies as needed

• Handles minor repairs such as replacing light bulbs

• Responsible for the cleanliness of the perimeter of the building

• Provides excellent guest service for both internal and external guests

The successful candidate will possess the following skill-set:

• Willingness and ability to work independently

• Demonstrates pride in the facility

• Ability to meet and greet guests while on the sales floor

• Proven ability to work in a team atmosphere

• Must be able to frequently and easily lift 40 pounds

• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time

• Ability to repetitively bend and stoop

• Ability to climb stairs and/or a ladder as needed

• Must follow all safety standards including use of equipment and chemicals

• Flexibility to change work schedule if needed

 
What are the job requirements?  All of our positions require lifting, repetitive motion, bending, climbing stairs, and standing for extended periods of time.  All associates must be willing to work in areas outside of their original job assignment.
