Food Service Cashier

Position Title:   Food Service Cashier
Classification:   Food & Beverage
Department:   General Store (Canyon Village Only)
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Maintains an exceptional level of guest service following the Guest Path Universal Service Standards
  • Completes transactions with our guests efficiently and courteously
  • Accurately rings transactions
  • Receives payments for Fountain charges, follows Yellowstone General Stores accounting procedures for handling cash, traveler’s checks, and credit cards
  • Counts cash accurately
  • Assists customers from other departments as necessary
  • Assists with sales and stocking duties in other departments as necessary

 
The successful candidate will possess the following skill-set:

  • Proven ability to accurately handle money and count change
  • Proven experience providing guest service
  • Proven communication skills
  • Ability to effectively work both independently and as a member of a team
  • Cash register experience is preferred
  • Proven problem solving ability
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Must be able to bend and stoop frequently
  • Physically able to lift 20 pounds frequently
  • Must be able to stand 7-8 hours/day
  • Flexibility to change work schedule if needed
