Position Title:
Fountain Support Classification: Food & Beverage
Department: General Store
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepares food such as salads and garnishes foods adhering to ServSafe practices
- Adheres to Yellowstone General Stores and National Park Service food service regulations, staff dress codes and grooming policy
- Assists Fry Cooks by keeping supplies replenished and other as needed duties
- Buses tables and counters as needed
- Washes dishes. May clean and mop floors at some locations
- Depending on the location, may scoop ice cream, following YGS guidelines as to portion size
- Complies with Food Employee Reporting Agreement to preclude the transmission of food-borne illness
- Follows GuestPath Universal Service Standards for both internal and external guests
- Completes ServSafe Food Handling training annually.
The successful candidate will possess the following skill-set:
- Proven communication skills
- Aptitude to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to effectively work both independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to lift 30 pounds frequently
- Physically able be to stand 7-8 hours/day
- Must be able to bend and stoop frequently
- Follow safety standards when using the meat slicer, other kitchen equipment
- Flexibility to change work schedule if needed
