Position Title:
Retail Department Lead Classification: Retail Administration
Department: General Store
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Effective day-to-day oversight of assigned department, including guest relations and replenishing product
- Maintains exceptional level of internal/external customer service following GuestPath Universal Service Standards
- Works in conjunction with Floor Supervisor in scheduling, delegating duties, and coaching department associates
- Places warehouse orders; receives and stocks merchandise, maintaining appropriate inventory levels at all times
- Operates a cash register as needed
- Ensures that all policies and procedures are followed: Security/Loss Control, Audit, etc.
- Responsible for other related duties, which may be assigned by the Store Manager or Floor Supervisor
The successful candidate will possess the following skill-set:
- Retail sales experience, including operating a cash register, is required
- Prior experience working at a Yellowstone General Store preferred
- Experience in supervising others is preferred
- Proven oral and written communication skills
- Excellent guest service skills following GuestPath Universal Service Standards
- Ability to effectively work both independently and as a member of a team
- Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proven ability to accurately handle money and count change
- Ability to lift at least 30 pounds frequently
- Ability to repetitively bend and stoop
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Flexibility to change work schedule if needed
